My full name is Roger Silva i Vilalta and I was born in Barcelona, Catalonia , on September 23rd, 1972. My pseudonym, tag or nick is Dreadful. The name comes from the title of a horror comic that I drew in 86-87.

/ dreadful (adjective) causing or involving great suffering, fear or unhappiness; extremely bad or serious : there's been a dreadful accident /

Few time later I started to use it regularly on the world of graffiti during the years 86-93. Since 93-94 it becomes my name in the computers world. In 94-95 Dreadful enters to the internet world.

Finally, the year 2000 it becomes the registered mark and the domain of what nowadays is my studio of multimedia graphic design and digital photography. The year 2006 it becomes one of the first .CAT domains of the Catalan Countries.

My first camera was a Kodak (1975) with which I started to take home pics. I enter to the photojournalism (87) with Canon, to the creative video (92) with Sony, to take party pics (96) with Olympus and to the digital world (02) with Sony.

I use to post cell pics to social utilities. I do personal and professional photography and video, mainly outdoors (buildings, cities and events) and I've won some prizes. I'm member of the following entities:

My first computer was an Amstrad CPC-6128 (1985) with which I yet drew pixel by pixel. I enter to Basic (90) with Apple, to the Windows (93) with Microsoft and, this time yet to professionalize me, to the Mac (97) with Apple.

I've learned and worked for Ambient Gràfic, El Periódico de Catalunya, Winterthur and Telefónica in graphic design, photographic retouch and web design. Nowadays I work as a freelance creative on my own studio.
